Elora Phillips’ passion for ceramics blossomed during college while working as a studio assistant to a professional potter. From there, she pursued a BA at the University of Sunderland, where she has been developing her practice since 2023 and is now preparing to graduate.

Her work is heavily inspired by the motif of dolls and doll faces, using their uncanny qualities to channel her artistic vision. Through figurative, dreamlike, and slightly eerie sculptures, Phillips explores her own experiences and personal narrative, creating immersive pieces that invite viewers into her unique, introspective world.
